Magic School Bus — davidzung.com

I was the Production Designer for an initial exploration by Scholastic Magazine to reboot their popular 2D animated TV series "The Magic School Bus" as an updated 3D computer animated series. I worked alongside the brilliant art director Chris Muller who was my co-designer. The character designer was the great Matt Haber. My art assistants were the gifted and dedicated Demi Chen and Aidan Terry. The 3D Animation was done by Cyrus Cumming and Austin Marola...their beautiful work speaks for itself.

For the design of the other vehicles I went for a retro, old school look that would be unique and distinct.
